| NCC Luncheon 2010 "Birds of a Feather Paint Together" July 17, 2010 |
Fun Begins at 10AM- Come join us. The committee has been
hard at work designing and painting centerpieces, favors, pins, and
some other surprise items. Some of our very talented painters are
working on SILENT AUCTION and SPECIAL RAFFLE pieces.
There will be a large table of RAFFLE items that you and
your guests donate. Remember your painted items can become
someone's treasure. Please be generous.
As in the past, we will have a table exchange. This is a
painted item to exchange with one done by someone at your table.
There will be a contest for the PRETTIEST, FUNNIEST, OR MOST
UNIQUE BIRDHOUSE painted by you. Prizes will be given to the
winners.
There will be a separate RAFFLE of items painted by ERIKA
SOMERS, a long time member, teacher, and friend of the NCC.
Half of the proceeds from Erika's Raffle will be used for a free
seminar to NCC members, in honor of her love of teaching. The
other half will be donated in her name to the Diabetes Foundation
(her favorite charity).
We have a delicious menu consisting of:
Fresh Green Salad with choice of dressings
Rolls and Butter
Your choice of 3 entrees:
Chicken stuffed with apple walnut dressing
Marinated London Broil with a light red wine sauce
Tilapia stuffed with crab
All will be served with a vegetable medley, red bliss potatoes or rice pilaf.
Coffee, Hot Tea Iced Tea, and water
Dessert: Chocolate Mousse Cake
$25 per person
It will be a fantastic event so invite your family and friends to
come.
