PROVIDE YOUR OWN SURFACE, PAINT WILL BE PROVIDED

PALETTE:
Delta:
Moss Green (or preferred background color)
White
Raspberry Black Cherry           Blue Spruce
DecoArt:
Teal Green                  Black Green

BRUSHES/PAINTING SUPPLIES:
Regular Painting Supplies.
Magic Mix or other Floating Medium (if desired)
1/8, 1/4, and 3/8 angles.  Fine Liner
3/4 angle or 1 inch flat wash brush (for linen).  Small Mop
Stylus (preferably one with one end considerably larger
than the other) Use for lace.

SURFACE PREP:
Sand, seal, sand.
Basecoat: Moss Green or color of choice.
If only painting the rose: Trace pattern with graphite. Be
sure you can see pattern lines.

OPTION:
If painting lace and the rose, follow previous steps except
before tracing the rose paint lace as follows:
LINEN and LACE:
Trace only the circle and lace edges.
Wash linen in center of circle with White thinned with
clean water dampened brush and Magic Mix or other
floating medium.
Let linen dry. (Takes a little longer to dry if use medium).
With liner, outline lace with small comma-like strokes.
Using stylus, with large end dot circle starting with one
dot at end of each comma-like stroke. Next, put a dot in
the center and one on each side. Repeat around circle.
Using liner, paint cross-hatching. Put dots at tip of lace
and also at intersecting points of the cross-hatching. Be
careful not to put hands in dots and to keep dots at the tip
of the lace straight. Let dry completely.
